The SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) HelpLine is a statewide network of trained volunteer advisors that offer free assistance to residents. Advisors help residents of all ages and backgrounds with questions about health insurance, health care access and prescription drug plans, and they can assist problems or fraud.
Lower Columbia CAP in Longview is the host for residents in Cowlitz, Wahkiakum or Lewis Counties. Advisors are available to meet with residents either in person or by telephone. Appointments conveniently convenietly scheduled in private cubicles at our office in downtown Longview. We are also developing plans to provide in-person appointments in Lewis County. More details will be announced soon.
