Welcome to the Help Warehouse page. Help Warehouse also helps with Basic Food Cards, Emergency Assistance, and USDA Commodities.

Since 1982 Help Warehouse has been the food collection and distribution center for Cowlitz and Wahkiakum food banks.

In 2006, Help Warehouse distributed over 1 million pounds of food through the eight area food banks and its seventeen USDA distributions sites.

Government commodities are distributed monthly at seventeen distribution sites in Cowlitz & Wahkiakum Counties. Call CAP at 360-425-3430 for income guidelines and documentation required to obtain a punch card.

Basic Food Assistance Card

CAP provides information about the Basic Food Program and assists individuals with completing the application. Applications can be picked up in the Help Warehouse office at CAP. (formerly called Food Stamps)

Emergency Assistance 

Diapers, infant formula, blankets.

CAP Thrift Store

CAP operates one thrift store in the old Mattresses and More behind the CAP building at 1526 Commerce in Longview. Proceeds from sales go to support Help Warehouse. Donation of clothing furniture, and household items are appreciated.

CAPtured Treasures

CAP also has a new boutique in it's main 1526 Commerce building. CAPtured Treasures sells name-brand clothing, unique gifts, and hand-made local jewelry. All proceeds go towards CAP.
